Mwombeki is an Investment Officer with IFC. Through his career spanning 20 years, he has worked on financial inclusion, microfinance, agriculture finance, investments, and on agriculture and financial policies, where he has helped to develop and oversee many lending models to smallholder farmers and to MSMEs. Amongst his previous roles includes Head of Agriculture and Rural Finance at the Financial Sector Deepening Trust, Head of Research and Product Development at NMB Bank, and a member of Mercy Corps’ Agri Fin Accelerate Advisory Council.
