ABOUT GLOBALG.A.P. TOURSTOP 2025
The GLOBALG.A.P. TOURSTOPs are dynamic annual events that bring stakeholders from across the agricultural landscape together to promote safer and more sustainable farming practices. These collaborative gatherings serve as a vibrant forum for dialogue, innovation, and practical solutions.
In 2025, Kenya will host a three-day TOUR STOP from 23-25 September spotlighting food safety, smart farm assurance tools, and the pivotal role of the National Technical Working Group (NTWG) in guiding agricultural development. Participants will explore new market opportunities shaped by global frameworks such as the Economic Partnerships Agreement (EPA) and the European Union (EU) Green Deal.
New to this year’s agenda is a focus on Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) for Aquaculture—an effort to build regional capacity, support local fisherfolk, and strengthen compliance with rigorous market standards.
The 2025 tourstop will feature expert keynotes and interactive discussions tailored to crops and aquaculture; breakout sessions; panel discussions; exhibition showcasing innovations from every link in the agricultural value chain; and field visits on Day 3 to crops and aquaculture farms and enterprises aligned with GLOBALG.A.P. standards in production, handling, and logistics
The Kenya 2025 TOUR STOP promises to be a dynamic convergence of ideas and action, offering practical insight into agricultural growth, market access, and global collaboration.
