Valeska has always been dedicated to technical responsibilities at AGRAYA. Initiated activities in 2002 supporting the crops standards for fruits and vegetables, flowers and ornamentals, coffee and tea. Since 2004 she was involved from the initial stage of the aquaculture standards developments. This also includes the development of compound feed manufacturing standard and chain of custody. She brings to AGRAYA previous experience in the food and agroindustry. Her academic background includes studying Sustainable Aquaculture at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and Food Engineering at the State University of Campinas in Brazil. Her main roles are to facilitate standards for the industry, facilitate stakeholders working groups´ activities, and capacity building for the public and certifiers.
